Fan Bento, "Unbox the Treasure of Health," is a subscription-based healthy meal brand crafted for busy urbanites. With just a quick microwave process, the brand promises a delicious, nutritious meal on the go. This project encompasses strategic planning, a cohesive visual identity system, packaging design, app UI/UX, and photo direction to bring this new brand's vision to life.

This project encompasses the brand's visual identity, packaging design for lunch boxes, bottles, and boxes, UI/UX for the service app, and, most importantly, the overall brand strategy.
Design Process
With "fān" meaning "tomato" in Chinese, Fan Bento translates to "Tomato Box," symbolizing a gift of health and freshness. The brand implies the imagery of tomato to create a bold color palette and geometric graphics create a vibrant appeal for young adults, while each lunch box flavor features its own unique illustration for easy identification.
Application
The app is a key part of our subscription-based meal service, making it easy for users to browse meal plans, check nutritional info, and adjust their settings. Its design stays true to the bright and friendly brand, with a simple, easy-to-use interface that makes navigation a breeze.
The Fan Bento app makes meal planning simple by allowing users to view the weekly menu right from the home page. Users can select their own meals for upcoming weeks or let the AI automatically choose for them based on their taste preferences and order history, ensuring a personalized and convenient experience every time.

Photo Direction
This project is my first time to use of AI image generation in the design process. It helped me visualize the user persona for the brand by input key characteristics, which clarified the potential customer's appearance. Additionally, I used AI to generate future menu items, creating a clear image of the product.
